Hi all,

I got some things in for my DD's party, and I thought I would share my thoughts.

The Doll Party Favors are really cute and I think they will add a lot to the girl/doll party experience. Worth the price. [img]smile.gif[/img]

The Doll Balloons are also cute. I was on the fence about ordering them, because I think they are priced too high. They really should be $1.00 each, instead of $2.00. I went ahead and got them because I am not spending a lot on the party in general, and because I had a 10% off code.

The Doll Treat Seat is a huge disappointment! [img]frown.gif[/img] At first I was thrilled because the colors are much brighter in person, and the seat is so cute! BUT... it is much smaller than the seats they use in the AGP restaurants and it will not work at any of my tables, or even my kitchen "bar". The little arms that hold the seat to the table are so short, that they absolutely will not close around the countertop when a doll is seated. [img]frown.gif[/img] And, because the doll's knees do not bend, the seats will not work at ANY table that has the wood piece dropped down under the flat top (sorry, I don't know what this is called, but all tables have them except for plain, flat tables like they use in schools).

I am bummed about this, because I thought it would be so cute to have all the girls and dolls around the table. I was even considering pruchasing enough for all 6 girls to have one as a party favor (again, because the at-home sleepover is not costing much overall).

Thanks for the reviews. Odd about the treat seat! I would return it and voice your complaints. Are the ones at AGP for sale?

That's good to know about the doll treats. I agree that it's fun to splurge on the goody bags if you can keep the overall party cost down.

Return it and tell them to re-imburse you shipping cost both ways... that is ridiculious that is a manufactuers defect and they should be held responsible for it.

That is really disappointing =/

Thanks for letting us know about the seat. Guess I won't be ordering that one. What poor design! I am glad that you like the doll sized party favors. I thought those looked cute.

I just spoke to CS and gave them my feedback on the Treat Seat. The gal I spoke to was very nice and is sending me a return label. (I got to thinking about it after I called, and I *might* try the seat with Bitty before I send it back... just in case. My girls would rather have a seat for their 18" dolls, but they do play with Bitty, too.)

ANYhoo... if AG revamps the seat to make it bigger, I will definitely try them again. They are darling, and it's just a shame they didn't do more testing on them.

Thanks for sharing your reviews on the party items. I think the ballooons are adorable! How disappointing about the seat! BTW, I think the part of the table you are referring to is called an "apron". Have fun planning the party. I love planning parties and an AG one when DD gets a little older will be so much fun.

Just wanted to let you all know that I tried the Treat Seat with Bitty Baby and it was a no-go. There is just not enough room between the legs and the bottom of the counter. [img]frown.gif[/img] I guess I'll be using that return label after all.

I really hope they revamp this product, because I really want it! (Errr... I mean, my DDs really want it! [img]tongue.gif[/img] )
